The Urban Foresters seeks a Houston based Sales & Marketing Administrator who desires more from their job. As a Sales & Marketing Administrator for The Urban Foresters you will act as the first point of interaction for customers with our company. A positive customer experience is an integral component to the way we do things. 

The right candidate will be able to vet and respond to leads as they come in in a friendly and engaging manner. Excellent organization is a requirement as you will have a leading role in helping to maintain the work calendars for both our crew and salesmen, and will act as a bridge between the different departments in our organization. Major Job Functions

  • Answer, respond, and report on all inbound calls/lead
  • Manage and maintain calendar for crews and salesmen
  • Act as a bridge between OPS, Sales, Marketing, and Accounting
  • Assist the Marketing Department as needed
  • Develop yourself within a close knit team

Requirements

  • Comfortable in an indoor setting

  • Experience and comfortable working under minimal supervision

  • Excellent bonding and rapport abilities, professional and articulate, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional communication and organizational skills, punctual and critical thinker  
  • Experienced with a CRM (HubSpot a plus), Excel, and scheduling appointments 
  • Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
  • Warm and pleasant, multi-tasker, systematic thinker

Responsibilities

  • Operate within HubSpot, Kickserv, AirCall, Google , and report to marketing department
  • Schedule appointments for salesman and maintain crews calendars
  • Follow up with clients to ensure customer service and ask for a review and referral 
  • Engage in continual learning and receive coaching from manager
  • Successfully answer and set clear next steps with 80% off all inbound calls
  • Compile and deliver marketing analytics weekly

The Urban Foresters are Outside Salespeople who desire more from their Interior Life. We serve others by providing tree services. New Outside Sales team members develop a new book of business, transition existing leads to closed sales, and cultivate long-lasting business partnerships. We work for a vast number of clients inclusive of large-scale communities, multi-family property investments, and commercial districts.

The right Outside Sales candidates own many aspects of the sales process, tailor that process to individual needs, and will have recent documentation demonstrating a robust work history. This position is geared for a highly ambitious individual who is not afraid to be out in the field the majority of the workweek conducting the behaviors necessary to win mutual goals.

The Urban Foresters seeks an Operations Manager who desires more from their job. We serve others through providing tree services. Operations Managers enter that service by supervising, coaching, mentoring and training Foremen and ensuring their safety, excellence and efficiency in the field. Your men will provide tree services at large scale communities, multi-family property investments, commercial entities and individual homes.

The right Operations Manager directs the operations process, executes that process with very few mistakes, and provides abundant feedback to the entire organization on the daily operations of his teams. This position is geared for a meticulous individual who is not afraid to be out in the field the majority of the work week conducting the behaviors necessary to support the team.

TEAM BEHAVIORS:

  • Build friendships and confidence with leadership and operations department

MANAGER OF OTHERS:

  • Achieve local branch work completed goals on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Supervise, coach, mentor and train team of 5 to 10 operations foremen
  • Develop a healthy, functional and aligned team of foreman through Wheel of Life
  • Raise foremen from Managers of Self to Managers of Others
  • Build and maintain operations hiring pipelines (strategic partnerships; internships; etc.)
  • Recruit, hire and groom new foremen
  • Mentor foremen through successfully hiring and grooming their direct reports
  • Develop SWOT analysis for operations staff (Safety record; OutMatch; Gallup; DISC )
  • Account for operations budget (payroll; general expenses)
  • Deliver all operations documentation and reporting to accounting and administration
    team (timesheets; comp; insurance)
  • Communicate across all company functions regarding crew statuses, job statuses and
    equipment statuses.

MANAGER OF ASSETS AND SAFETY:

  • Ensure all employees of TUF comply with safety value on The Playbook
  • Train operations personnel on proper use of all equipment
  • Inspect operations crews for PPE and safe operation of equipment
  • Personally hold or delegate the certifications of ISA Arborist, TDA Licence, and CTSP
  • Host regular safety meetings and maintain all safety related documentation
  • Investigate and report upon all incidents of injury, damage or poorly done tree care
  • Reprimand & performance manage unsafe/poor performance personnel
  • Manage all emergency related operations (after-hours; storm response; crane use;)
  • Account for all operations equipment in company budget
  • Partner with leadership to create asset plan for all equipment
  • Provide and service branch fleet of equipment (trucks; chippers; small tools; etc)
  • Supervise the maintenance and safe operation of all field-related equipment.
  • Supervise delivery and return of all equipment
  • Team with AAA for timely equipment documentation and inspection
  • Manage branch facilities (landlord relations; utilities; security; maintenance)

MANAGER OF SELF:

  • Adhere to The Playbook
  • Attend WIM with Integrator
  • Attend coaching and mentoring with Integrator
  • Discover and attend professional development (coaching culture education;
    mechanical trade school; arboriculture training; etc)
  • Maintain the operations systems and contribute improvements when appropriate

  • Meet or exceed zero incident safe work environment
